Photographing Southern Sea Otters in Monterey, CA
Growing up in Seaside, I spent countless hours along the Monterey coast watching southern sea otters float and dive through the kelp. These animals have always been a part of my story, and this trip is about reconnecting with them through my lens. Though still listed as Threatened under the Endangered Species Act, sea otters remain a symbol of resilience and a reminder of why protecting California’s coastal ecosystems matters.
