My name is Kenny Hills, and I’m the founder of Wild Essence—a platform born from a lifelong passion for animals and a commitment to protecting the natural world. After years of working hands-on with animals, I made the life-changing decision to return to college and pursue a degree in Zoology at Oregon State University.
One of the biggest hurdles in this journey is the rising cost of tuition. That’s why I’ve launched this fundraising initiative—to help support my education as I work toward graduating and turning my dream into a lifelong career in wildlife conservation.
I currently hold a 3.47 GPA, the highest I’ve ever achieved academically, and a testament to how seriously I take this mission. My goal is to one day contribute to wildlife conservation efforts across the globe, helping protect endangered species and preserve natural habitats for future generations.

As an amateur wildlife photographer, I'm proud to share a growing collection of prints that capture the beauty of nature through my eyes. These images focus on native California species—animals I’ve encountered during hikes, quiet moments, and time spent observing local ecosystems. While I’m still learning and growing behind the lens, each photo represents my passion for wildlife and my commitment to conservation. I plan to expand my collection as I travel to national parks across the country and eventually to other parts of the world, capturing the raw and untamed beauty of nature. Every print purchased helps support my education in Zoology and fuels my mission to protect the wildlife we all cherish.
