One day while on a dog walk up on the Mullholland fire road. The dog I was walking became alert, hackles were up and he sensed something was near. I noticed his change in posture and behavior and figured maybe there was a coyote near. When I got that Erie feeling something or someone was watching us, I looked up and on a ridge above us this buck was looking down at us. It was a powerful glance and it was super exciting.
